“He who opens the school door closes the prison gate” ……Victor Hugo

Support a child affected by parental incarceration and break the likely cycle of incarceration is our call in this program. Children are an important part of the life of persons affected by incarceration and as long as their well-being is not taken care of, the support to the women is incomplete.

Resilient Woman recognizes the need to support children affected by parental incarceration. This support ensures the cycle of incarceration is broken. Children can go to school through this program and this way any possibilities of exposure to risky behaviors like abusing drugs or joining gangs are minimized or prevented.
